Projects
Projects I work on reflect my role as an artist and researcher and also draw from a background of 20+ years working with groups and individuals in the voluntary sector.
Double Elephant Print Workshop:
Artist researcher

I worked as a researcher with Double Elephant Print Workshop to map the printmaking landscape in the South West.
The research aim was to better understand the barriers and challenges for printmakers in the region and was carried out via a variety of methods including focus groups which I co-facilitated.
Flock SW: Printmaking Artist
Artist’s commission by Flock South West as part of 'We Will' for British Art Show 9 (BAS9). I designed and delivered a series of participatory print workshops for people with lived experience of migration from Devon & Cornwall Refugee Support.

Under the banner ‘Walking the everyday’ and using themes and artworks from BAS9, the workshops employed a combination of walking, talking, print and collage making, to explore nature, patterns and people’s experiences and reflections of being in Plymouth.

Kaleider - Printmaking Artist

As lead artist, I led public printmaking workshops and supported young producers as part of Kaleider’s Fish Mobile project.

The project, a 70m tall balancing mobile of moving fish, hung in a public park in Rotherham in 2022. Adjacent to the fish installation, I facilitated print workshops, encouraging and engaging the public of all ages to create their own small fish mobile to take home.

Beyond Face: Audience Engagement Producer
As Audience Engagement Producer with Beyond Face, I worked on their research and development project, ‘A Different Perspective’, primarily focussed on people who currently don’t engage in the arts in Plymouth.
I designed and facilitated a programme of creative group conversations to better understand how and if a bespoke audience development campaign could help to engage more Black and Global Majority audiences.
